Countryside Properties wishes to be acknowledged as an industry leader in caring for the environment, by actively promoting environmental consideration. We recognise that any residential property development we undertake will impact on the environment.
That's why environmental considerations are incorporated into the planning and design process to
ensure every development enhances the surrounding environment. And we continue to manage the construction process to help minimise the
environmental impact of its operations and reduce potential for pollution.
BREEAM - Environmental Assessment for Buildings 'BREEAM' Stands for the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method.
BREEAM sets out a series of best practice criteria, against which the environmental aspects of building design and operation can be assessed.
Where the criteria have been met, credits are awarded and, depending on the number achieved, the building's performance is rated as pass, good, very
good or excellent. Countryside Properties aim to achieve an EcoHomes rating of GOOD at Heatley Mere.
The aims of the scheme offer superior environmental design to customers, resulting in reduced running costs through greater energy and water efficiency and reduced maintenance;
provide healthy, comfortable and flexible internal environments; and provide access to local amenities resulting in less dependence on the car.
